This album was recorded in the winter of 2008/2009 in northern Pennsylvania. It continues the experimentation with home recording magic. Musically, the songwriting was mostly influenced by MGMT, Beck, and Built to Spill with some of the psychedelic undertones starting to make an appearance. The drum machine parts are simpler and more direct. The album isn't as dark as Asexual and the lyrics tend to be more optimistic and a couple tracks are pure fun (The Couch and Doing What I Want), although there is still plenty of confusion and guilt to go around. Most of these songs were never played live.
